OUR cat is probably lurking
near where the mice come out.

On the hot pipe, more like it.

And why
shouldn't she?
[Nils]
Or waiting to show the mice the way
to the crackers to fatten them up.

[Elizabeth]
Anyway, do we still
have that cat carrier?
[Nils]
Oh, the computer
stand? Sure.
[Elizabeth]
Oh good. I thought I might take
her in to mouse around at work.
[Panel 4]
[Bell]
A black cat? They all think
you're a witch ALREADY.
[Elizabeth]
Then there's
no harm done.
[Nils]
She'll probably make friends
with those mice too, and carry
messages back and forth.
