[Panel 1]
[Elizabeth]
You know this wedding
thing of Ginny's?
[Bell]
Yeah. It almost
seems a shame that
I don't do cooking.
[Elizabeth]
It does sound as if
it could be fun.
[Bell]
Maybe her cousin would go
for a medieval banquet.
Then you could do it.
[Panel 2]
[Elizabeth]
What, with frumenty and
farts and things like that?
[Bell]
I was thinking more
about how you'd get hold
of an ox to roast whole.
[Elizabeth]
The trouble with that
is the vegetarians.
[Bell]
If you listen to Nils, the trouble
is ALWAYS the vegetarians.
[Panel 3]
[Elizabeth]
When you want to cook Medieval,
the real trouble is anachronism.
[Bell]
How d'you mean?
Gas rings?
[Elizabeth]
No, that the sort of people
who can afford it are the same
sort who wouldn't notice
baked potatoes and turkey.
[Bell]
Ginny's family would
probably know better.
[Panel 4]
[Elizabeth]
You know, you really ought to do
it. They might be good people.
[Bell]
But I've said I
don't do cooking...
[Elizabeth]
Um... we could say you were me?
[Bell]
Cooking in a red wig?
[Elizabeth]
And some glasses. Nobody
would notice, would they?
