No, it wasn't really.
[Nils]

[Elizabeth]

What went wrong?
[Elizabeth]
You don't want to know.
[Jaakko]
Yes I do.
[Elizabeth]
One damn' crisis
after another.
First of all it rained. Then
the dogs got distemper. And
to cap it all Jane had a
stroke, and she's only fifty.
[Panel 3]
[Nils]
That's terrible.
[Elizabeth]
No, she's OK.
Apart from bruises on
all her limbs, damn near
kidney failure, urinary
tract infection... and
that was all in the
first four days.
On the fifth day I took her
home. They didn't want to let
her go, but Mum'll feed her.
[Panel 4]
[Jaakko]
Do you suppose if I had a stroke...?
[Nils]
Jaakko, if you really want I'll break
your bloody leg and take you over
there, and then she'll feed YOU. OK?
[Elizabeth]
Oh, Nils, really...
[Jaakko]
It'd still be better
than hospital.
