[Panel 1]
[Bell]
You wouldn't believe the trouble
I've had finding white eggs.
[Elizabeth]
I never noticed when all the
eggs started to be brown.
Is it feed or breed, d'you suppose?
[Bell]
Dunno. I was starting to
wonder about goose-eggs.
[Elizabeth]
These ones here are
worth the effort, anyhow.
[Panel 2]
[Bell]
Yeah, these two are ok. We
can do some more for next week.
[Elizabeth]
Do we have three egg-cups?
[Bell]
I think we'll have to buy some.
[Elizabeth]
I'll do that, then. It's worth it.
[Panel 3]
[Bell]
Some families play a sort of
conkers with Easter eggs. Last one
to crack is the winner.
[Elizabeth]
Oh, WHAT? It'ld be a
crime to break these.
[Bell]
My family just roll them down
a hill for the fun of it.
[Elizabeth]
We can do that with
chocolate ones if you like.
[Panel 4]
[Bell]
OK. And use chocolate ones for the
egg-hunt, too, like last time.
[Elizabeth]
Seems a shame to eat ones we've
taken all this trouble over.
[Bell]
I kept mine, one year when I
was too young to know better.
[Elizabeth]
I don't blame you.
[Bell]
I started to regret it
about three weeks later...
