# still in the pub
[Panel 1]
[Jaakko]
Anyway, why do you need a car?
I thought you took the
train or rode a bicycle?
[Ginny]
Not if I'm taking Mum to Scotland.
[Jaakko]
I think perhaps I should not
ask why you are doing that.
[Panel 2]
[Ginny]
Or even shopping, these days.
[Elizabeth]
I thought you said you
had a village shop.
[Ginny]
We did. We still do, technically.
But now it sells quails' eggs
and caviar and truffles for
the weekend cottage folk.
[Panel 3]
[Elizabeth]
Surely it has bread? And milk?
[Ginny]
Olive bread, yes.
And goats' milk.
So we end up going round
the local farms instead.
[Elizabeth]
I don't suppose you have any buses?
[Ginny]
Oh, yes. Into the nearest
town, every Tuesday.
[Panel 4]
[Jaakko]
I do not see the problem
with taking meat and eggs
and so on home on a bicycle.
[Ginny]
When you're buying half a
cow for the deep freeze?
[Jaakko]
That is what the
big trailer is for.
